The Senior Civil Utility Design Engineer will lead the design of civil engineering projects for site development and redevelopment across sectors like energy, healthcare, commercial, public facilities, and more. In this role, you will manage both design processes and client relationships, working closely with a cross-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design and production of utility system layouts, site grading, erosion control plans, and permitting for various development projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and permitting specialists to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Manage project scopes, client relationships, and contracts, ensuring projects meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
- Oversee the preparation of construction plans and specifications, from conceptual design through to completion.
- Apply expertise in wastewater, sewer, and water supply systems to deliver top-tier designs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Ten or more years of experience in civil utility design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Strong leadership, project management, and client relationship-building skills.
