Our client is a leading engineering design firm with a team of over 90 professionals. This employer is seeking a Senior HVAC Project Engineer to join their HVAC department. This role is perfect for experienced engineers who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions.

As a Senior HVAC Project Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in the effort to create efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable building systems. Your expertise will guide the design process from inception to completion, ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project specifications, design intent, proposals, and fee budgets.
  • Coordinate design details, plans, and drawings within your discipline.
  • Design, estimate, manage start-up, and plan jobs, troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Supervise, schedule, and review the work of project team members.
  • Communicate effectively to resolve conflicts and ensure quality installation.
  • Implement quality assurance programs to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Review and integrate vendor and client drawings, preparing comprehensive construction documents.
  • Respond to RFIs, prepare change bulletins, and conduct job site surveys and field observations.
  • Coordinate project assignments and manage complex projects across multiple disciplines.
  • Interact with clients, assist with technical studies, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ten or more years with an engineering consulting or AIE firm, focusing on healthcare, institutional, commercial, educational, municipal, industrial projects, or construction engineering.
  • Professional Engineer or Registered Designer stamp with demonstrated experience.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills are essential.
  • Dedication to continuous learning, including attending seminars and professional development programs.
