As a Customs Brokerage Process Improvement Analyst, you’ll play a key role in optimizing workflows, implementing automated solutions in CargoWise, and driving business improvements. This role requires strong project management skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of customs brokerage and freight forwarding processes.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Plan, execute, and oversee freight forwarding and customs brokerage process improvement initiatives.
- Identify automation opportunities and implement technology-driven solutions.
- Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Generate and analyze reports to enhance decision-making.
- Test and deploy automated solutions in CargoWise.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners to optimize workflows.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and resource planning for process improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, SQL, and project management tools.
- Understanding of EDI/API integrations and data management.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Preferred: Experience with CargoWise Software.
- Preferred: PMP Certification.
- 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
